Overview
Incremental rocket series for EUROC - Colombo 1 reached 600m at Mach 0.5
Colombo Series
DOPE Aerospace's Rocket Team is developing an incremental series of subsonic, transonic, and supersonic launch vehicles to participate in the prestigious EUROC (European Rocketry Challenge) competition.
The team has already reached a significant milestone with Colombo 1, which completed a successful flight to 600 meters altitude, reaching a speed of Mach 0.5, an acceleration of 20 G, and being recovered intact after 91 seconds.
IRESS 2025 Participation
The team presented the results at the Italian Rocket Engineering Student Summit (IRESS) at La Sapienza University of Rome (April 28-29, 2025), attracting interest from AVIO and ASI (Italian Space Agency).
