Overview
Naval network vulnerability analysis - GPS spoofing attack architecture defined
Cybersecurity for Naval Systems
The project focuses on the vulnerability of shipboard communication networks, where cleartext communications can expose systems to critical risks such as GPS spoofing.
The team is analyzing network segmentation and developing custom security solutions for naval systems.
The attack architecture has already been defined and key vulnerabilities of communication and navigation systems have been identified.

Technical Specs
Attack Vectors
- GPS Spoofing: GPS signal falsification to deviate course
- Clear-text Communications: Interception of unencrypted communications
- Network Segmentation Flaws: Unauthorized access between segments
Proposed Solutions
- Robust network segmentation (IT/OT separation)
- End-to-end communication encryption
- GPS anomaly detection systems
- Maritime protocol hardening
